Flowers were laid and prayers were said in silence Monday at Tokyo's Kasumigaseki Station. The 11th anniversary of the deadly subway gas attack were marked there. Twelve people were killed and 5,500 were injured in that accident. The sarin nerve gas was released in the city's subway system. The Kyodo News Agency reports, that families of victims were joined by former and current subway employees amid others, who marked the attack. 16 workers stood in silence for 30 seconds at 8 am. It happened at the Kasumigaseki Station. The wife of a dead employee placed flowers at the station next to a flower shrine.
